Privacy Policy — Fix Arabic Keyboard
This policy explains how Fix Arabic Keyboard and its companion app handle typed text, settings, and technical data.
Scope
This policy applies to Fix Arabic Keyboard on Android and its companion app. Core keyboard functions do not require an account.
Typed and repaired text
Text you type in the keyboard, including repair-field content and dictionary suggestions, is processed locally on the device. JANA APPS does not send message content to its servers to perform repair or suggestions.
Android keyboard warning
Android shows a general warning when enabling any third-party keyboard because a keyboard can technically handle text the user types. This warning is generated by Android. Fix Arabic is designed so its core text processing remains local on the device.
Local dictionaries and learning
The keyboard uses local dictionaries and may store limited learned word or context data on the device to improve suggestions. This data stays in app storage and may be removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
Clipboard and sharing
The keyboard may read clipboard content locally to determine whether paste is available and to paste when the user requests it. Android sharing is opened when the user chooses to share the app. JANA APPS does not send clipboard content to its servers for these actions.
Settings and customization
Preferences such as number row, keyboard height, letter size, bottom spacing, and key borders are stored locally so the user’s choices persist between sessions.
Fix Arabic PRO subscription and activation key
If a user optionally purchases Fix Arabic PRO from the external Jana Apps website, Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and handles payment, taxes, receipts, and subscription management. When activation, validation, or deactivation is requested, the app sends the license key and a random installation identifier to Lemon Squeezy’s License API. Typed text and clipboard content are not included. Activation data is cached locally for limited offline access and can be removed from the PRO screen or by clearing app data.
Advertising and external services
Ads are not displayed inside the keyboard interface. The companion app may later use optional Google rewarded ads to grant additional uses of certain features. When enabled, Google may process technical and advertising data under its policies and regional consent requirements. JANA APPS does not include typed message or clipboard content in custom advertising or analytics events.
Misuse disclaimer
The user alone is responsible for content written, copied, sent, or published through Fix Arabic Keyboard. The service must not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, rights-infringing, or unethical activity, or for uses that conflict with the publisher’s ethical and religious principles. JANA APPS does not approve or encourage such uses, expressly rejects and disclaims them, and disclaims responsibility for consequences or harm arising from them to the extent permitted by applicable religious principles and law.
Data use and deletion
JANA APPS does not sell the content you type. Local data can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app, and additional local-data controls may be provided in the app.
Security and external services
Reasonable measures are used to protect the service, but no electronic method is guaranteed to be completely secure. External websites or services opened from the app are governed by their own policies and terms.
